You are not getting "cable channels", you are getting all of the HD over-the-air channels that all of your local TV stations have to continue broadcasting. You are not going to get: HBO, AMC, Cinemax, MTV, CNN or anything of that nature. You should get: NBC, CBS, ABC, Fox and all of their HD subs as well as the religious channels and shopping channels that your cable provider does not carry.
