Different take, subpar Comedian
Joe DeRosa's newest album is a double disc filled with jokes that don't work. I know, it's hard to explain why he thought this would be a good idea. Long, tedious, and worst of all, pleading. He wants to liked, not be funny. His jokes lack the social commentary of Carlin, the ballsiness of Pryor or Hicks, and the righteousness of Patrice Oneal. Hipster alternative left-for-the-room comic who could have been so much more but decided to move out West, get ONE BIT get big on a CANCELLED show, and now his future looks so bleak he has to release his blooper reel of failed comedy. Maybe I am being too tough on the poor guy. I just feel really ripped off. This has been the worst 9/11 ever.
