Did not work. Nothing has. My dog is just obsessed with anything he deems edible. No, he doesn't have parasites. He's 10 years old and in perfect health. Gets all his shots. Takes thyroid medicine. Gets bathed weekly. Lounges around in an air conditioned home. Has a pool, a fenced yard, a porch with a fan so he doesn't get hot when he's outside for 5 minutes (because he is usually ready to come back in fast if its hot and theres no poop to eat). Basically he lives a life of luxury. He eats 5 Star dog food; either Blue Buffalo or Castor Pollux. He gets organic dog treats or home made. But for some reason he still considers his Boxer brother's poop a delicacy. Our vet has determined that he's just basically nuts..but then many Boxer dogs are nuts. So I have slowly accepted the fact that I will be following him and his brother around the yard with a poop scooper in my attempt to not leave little 'treats' in the yard for him. When I'm not fast enough, or don't see the poop packages, and he eats some, I try my best to wipe his mouth with a damp paper towel and freshen his poopy breath with mint diluted with water. He doesn't care for that. So maybe that will be the ultimate deterrent....Fresh Breathe. At least he believes in exercise....pic is proof.
