Update May 2023: After 2 years, I have found this to be a Good Dependable Printer. But I just ran out of black ink. Research shows no OEM ink available, limited compatible ink manufactures, and that I can buy the same printer with ink, cheaper new, than I can just the ink. Don't recommend!! Printer just arrived and setup went reasonably well on my macbook pro, using a USB cable (not included), but I had to use manual input for my wifi settings on the far too small LCD screen to setup the wireless printing. Brother website setup page was confusing, and said that I could not download a full setup of drivers, apparently because I have a Mac, not windows computer. Footprint is not compact, but still acceptable. BUT the biggest problem I see is the scarcity and cost of replacement ink cartridges. Expect to pay around $200 or more for a full set of the LC406XL ink cartridges, that is, if you can find them! Couldn't find third party cartridges either. My experience is that so called "starter" ink cartridges, that come with the printer, never last as long as the manufacturer claims!
