I like the size and shape of this spatula, and also the curved end, that is sharpened slightly. It could, and should, be a great tool. Two unfortunate things about this tool: 1: the handle is plastic, and not a high temp kind, either. It melted when I left it in the pan while cooking. It survived, but is now misshapen and annoying. 2: when new, the edges of the metal were almost sharp, and needed to be sanded down a little to be perfect. Easy to do, tho. I contacted Sabatier, as their warranty requires return of the item, which would cost more than its value. I don't know if they will be nice, and send a new one... Well, I got a nice email back from Sabatier, in France, and they made it clear that they have NOTHING TO DO with the Chinese ones that feature a knockoff logo that looks basically the same as the French company. That's why I just downgraded them to ONE STAR. But AMAZON should get some credit here, for knowingly marketing a counterfeit product. Too bad I can't give AMAZON one star...
