Wow! I am sooo disappointed in the customer service from this manufacturer. We’ve had this for about 1.5 years and the warming bulb finally crapped out. It’s just a standard appliance bulb. No big deal right? Well when I tried it unscrew it the thing shattered. Not all that uncommon. The casing would not budge. As I was twisting i heard a crack. Rather than cause more damage I took the top of the entire unit off and was able to wiggle the wires loose to see why I couldn’t unscrew a simple bulb socket. The reason? The base of the bulb had been glued into the casing. Why? Why on earth would that be done? The ceramic case had cracked so now I can’t use the warming bulb. I contacted customer service who conveniently fell back on the out of warranty excuse and I could buy another one for $25. They just said I was the one that broke it so nothing they can do. Guess I’ll be fixing it myself with a $5 part from Lowe’s. The machine produces chewy popcorn anyway. If you value quality control avoid this product. Oh, and I wasn’t paid for this review and bought the popcorn maker with my own money.
