If I could give negative stars, I would. Norelco replaced a high quality RQ12 head with a poorly designed, cheap head. Not only did they ruin what was a superior razor, but bungled its customer relations in the process. This cheap replacement is difficult to clean and doesn't have the same mobility as the RQ12. After spending $200 plus for the system, I find it incredibly insulting and frustrating to have such a low quality replacement head forced upon its high end customers. My next purchase will not be Norelco. They have lost me for life. UPDATE 3/2016: Now into my 6th month with a Braun 7-series. Great, smooth shave. No razor burns or redness on my sensitive skin. Took a few weeks to get used to the different design and holding the razor at a 90 degree angle, but what a fantastic product. The only minor difference between the Braun 7-series and the Norelco 1280x is that the Braun is a bit noisier, but it's nowhere near a deal breaker. So glad to rid myself of a company that completely screwed over hundreds of thousands of high-end customers with the cheap, ramshackle RQ12plus. I am a happy Braun customer. Join me!
