We live in an area of the state where my rooftop antenna only picks up 2 channels. There's only one cable provider so there's no competition to keep costs down so we're "unplugged" as far as TV is concerned. We stream a lot of stuff via the major players in the streaming world. I like the idea of Locast but it's quite frustrating when they blow you out of what you're watching just to beg for donations. And, they don't do it during the commercials; they do it every 15 minutes or so. So, you're in my story of your favorite show when they bounce you out! Apparently, if you donate $5 a month, these interruptions cease. However, I donated $20, thinking I could test the service - without interruptions - for a few months. I was wrong! They kept begging for money and throwing me out of what I was watching. I know I didn't sign up for a monthly payment but I gave them the equivalent of 4 months of donations. Why are they still kicking me out of my shows!? At least give me a couple months to full vet the app and the service!
