I started using these in my Furbo treat feeder a month ago.. My Chihuahua mix loves them, but after a month of eating between 3 and 5 of these treats per day, eventually my dog stopped eating for 2 days, started throwing up and then bloody diahreah.. I immediately took him to the vet and he was diagnosed with gastroenteritis.. He had to spend a day at the vet getting IV Fluids due to dehydration and they gave him medication in his IV line.. He is now on meds for the next 8 days and on a prescription wet dog food for 2 weeks.. Between x-rays and tests and IV I spent $842 in vet bills.. This is the only new food he has eaten in the last month.. I've been racking my brain trying to figure out what could have caused it, and this is the only thing that makes sense.. This turns out to be an expensive choice I made. My Chihuahua mix weighs 12 lbs.
