I researched a ton of diffusers and decided on this one. I liked the design and everything about it when it arrived. It was quiet and easy to use. I didn't have some of the problems that were mentioned like water on the table. I think those issues were due to filling it past the water line or taking the lid off while it's running. I did, however, have some issues I didn't read about here. After a few weeks of use, I noticed some sand like particles coming out of the vent on the bottom. I gave it a little shake and could hear that there was something wrong inside. I unscrewed the back and discovered the heating element had extensive corrosion on it! I was surprised at how bad it was since I just had it for a few weeks. I sent it back and started my research for a diffuser all over again. I read about issues with just about all of them so I figured I'd give this one another try. Maybe it was a fluke. I made sure to wipe the ceramic disk with vinegar after using and thought all was well. A few days before the 30 day return was set to expire, I gave it a little shake to see if this one was corroding as well. I could hear a slight rattle so I unscrewed the back and sure enough, this one was corroding too! I sent it back. I know that essential oils can damage the droppers in the bottles over time, but I'm surprised that this happened to the diffuser in such a short time period. The company was great to deal with and they seem to care about their customers but unfortunately this product didn't work for me.
