WARNING : DO NOT BUY THIS SHREDDER!!! Mine lasted about 7 months before it died. We occasionally used it to shred unwanted mail with personal information on it. My family is in no way a heavy user. Probably used it a few times a week. I called Sentinel and their return policy is that the customer has to pay for shipping to return it. I was shocked to learn that to package and ship this shredder costs roughly $60. And this was the cheapest USPS would offer. No way am I paying another $60 toward a shredder that lasted less than 7 months! That's throwing good money after bad. Why pay to send them a broken shredder? "Yep, the customer is right. It doesn't work. Send them a new one." Makes no sense. If they really want it back, they should send a shipping label. That's what a reputable company would do. Stand by their product 100%. Not behind a guarantee with a set of instructions few people will through with. I even called to let them know I would be posting negative feedback if they didn't alter their return policy. This feel on deaf ears. So…If you decide to purchase anyway, Good Luck! As for me, time to go shopping for new shredder :>) .
