This toaster caused an hour long what’s that sound hunt in our house one evening. It turns out the digital display makes a constant hum noise. After being plugged in for two days, it started making this electrical humming sound. After finally figuring out what it was we contacted the manufacturer, who told us that that was normal and that these toasters do make that noise all the time. So if you’re not fond a slightly loud electrical humming noise constantly going on in the background of your home, don’t buy this toaster!
