It was a humid summer day when Periwinkle joined our dog toy clan. It was with high hopes and the hook “Durable for the most aggressive chewer” that I had purchased what was soon to become its grave demise. Upon opening that fateful package, I watched as the toy murder bounced around in Delight, licking her lips as if she were famished and this little dragon was the meal of a lifetime. It’s delightful and bumpy complexion gave me hope that it would survive my pup’s roughest treatment. Sadly, it was not meant to be. The toy murderer chomped down and thus began the carnage. It started with dissecting the darling tail before moving on to gutting the squeaker. Her eyes sparkled in delight as she tossed the toy carcass in the air and pounced on it once again, sinking those hook like teeth into the soft fabric. She proudly showed off her devious capabilities as I stared at her horrified. Oh the humanity! I cried So it is with a heavy heart I submit this to those seeking a review. If there’s a chance your pooch may prove to be as villainous as mine then you may want to buy a dragon life insurance policy. As for our mishap, this dragon didn’t stand a chance against the cruelty of my puppy.
