I have been very excited for the release of this Harvest Moon as I have enjoyed previous games. In the list of pros and cons, this one has very few pros and many cons. Pros: - The lack of having to switch tools and having a single action button makes this less frustrating. - Seeds, once unlocked, are available throughout the year, not just when they are in season. Cons: - Summer ambiance sound is incredibly repetitive and annoying. I can’t speak to the background music as one of the first things I do when starting a new game is to mute it. - Characters have little depth and come off as annoying children. - Game play is short. Credits rolled before I even got to a winter season. - Mining makes so much money and is so easy to collect that farming seems pointless. - Graphics are unimpressive. - Load times are long and occur often, especially considering poor graphics. - Game crashes a lot and at seemingly random times, but often at the end of a day as saving. - To get best upgraded tools, you must spend more real money on DLC.
