**DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE READ MOTORCYCLE MAN* it's basically the exact same. I'm annoyed I pre-ordered it and now can't get a refund..... never again. Okay so I've been a reader of KA's for a while now, since I first read Knight over 7 years I think.. so needless to say there are not many of her books I have not read... (Honey Series being one and some of her Fantastica books) but I digress. Still Standing is SOP KA book... so much so that if like me you are a re-re -re-re- reader of her books, you will know that although a "new" book frm KA it is pretty much a newer version of Tack & Tyra's book with moments storylines from any one of her other books sprinkled in,,, It's not bad, but it is not fresh... unfortunately in the Indie world (and that is where KA started) it seems writers get lazy and just change the names, and mix storylines from past books. So although I will finish this book, I am sorry that I paid for it in anticipation of a new story. Come on KA, don't become the current swathe of Indie authors who are just there to spit out tripe for the sake of the $$$$$'s, its lazy. But yeah if you're a KA sycophant of course you will five star it all the way. But if you are looking for fresh KA, this is not that book... Just a follow up now that i have finished... and it only just hit me... the MC Guys call Clara "REDHOT" I mean COME ON... not even original from "red" in T&T's story... My other huge issue is the physical abuse... For KA is a supposed advocate for Abused Women.. she surely justifies the behaviors of Buck, as an "oops I won't do it again but you were in my way, so I threw you into a wall....".. I'm sure abuse sufferers have heard that time and time again... perhaps also "trigger" warnings in her books.... Romance should be light and fluffy IMHO and I would think someone reading this who may have been a victim of abuse would get triggered... or even think that her abuser simply apologising is still okay to stay... So yeah lowering my rating.. this was lazy re-writing and advocating physical abuse to some degree, all because he is "hot"... shame KA...shame.
