I had to give this a one-star review. I had tested this camera on 3 or 4 short videos before I took it with me on vacation. It performed as expected and the video quality was pretty good. We took the family on a cruise and I used this as the main camera for taking video. I would record, playback some of the video I shot to make sure it was there and repeat. Come to find out that it corrupted about every second or third video. I only realized when I would go back to rewatch some of the earlier footage I shot and the camera would just say file error. When I got home to see if any of the bad files could be recovered, they all were zero byte files. So I lost a good bit of my cruise vacation footage. I returned this camera. Despite so many good reviews, I guess you get what you pay for. UPDATE: I upped the rating to 2 stars since they recently sent me another camera for free.
