I have smoking fast internet from comcast, and they recommended I upgrade my modem and router. I bought both- the modem and the router from amazon. I set it all up, and it runs great- wired, wireless, you name it, it runs great. Then I started noticing that things would freeze, like Netflix for a few moments. As it kept occurring, I noticed it more and more, and it makes this router pretty much worthless for anything that doesn't have a buffer- like online gaming, skyping, etc. Nothing real time can be done with this router, because you don't know when it is going to drop the connection for 20-30 seconds. I work from home a couple of days a week, and it is embarrassing when I don't know what was said in meetings for 30 seconds...Looks like lots of other people are having the same problem. Yes, I reset it, yes I have checked to see if it is the modem, yes it has the latest firmware...and yes, it pretty much sucks.
