Updated 3/24: sadly all good things come to an end and this desk is no exception. After three months it's become totally unresponsive, will beep sadly, not even read out the height, and then turn off. What a shame, bit you get what you pay for—in this case ripped off. Original review: Also in the 'this only had one review and was really cheap so I took a shot' camp. The seller had a lot of 5-star reviews over the years so figured this was just a new product or something. It came by the delivery estimate, super easy to assemble (be sure you don't accidentally put something on the wrong side, though, that got us a couple times), and works really well so far! It can save 4 preset heights and has a numeric read out of the height, too, and if you've ever had a standing desk before you know how crucial that is. The only downside (if you can even call it that) is the desktop part is actually two pieces of wood you connect with wood screws and fix them to the legs. Just didn't realize it when buying it and thought it would bug me, but don't even really notice it 3 days later. If I had more space for another desk I'd grab it now while it's so cheap (maybe to get folks to buy it and write reviews before upping it to the proper price?? IDK) because it's solid, does what's on the box, and affordable. I'll update if anything goes sideways.
