I received my set of four today and noted slight differences in the packaging compared to the one I purchased locally. Doing a little research I discovered that it was very likely these bottles are counterfeit. It is amazing how similar they are, right down to the image printed on the bottle itself and the packing (no "engrish"). However what jumped out at me is the original says "Made in USA" and the ones that I received say "Made in China". I compared the two visually and surprisingly enough I would have said the knockoff was better built. The corners are more rounded and the heat seals are a little thicker. HOWEVER the "China" ones leak between the cap and the neck of the bottle. I filled both up and squeezed pretty hard. The "China" ones started to leak and the "USA" ones did not. It will probably hold during normal use, but I am not going to put it in a bag with anything heavy. If you want to know how to spot a counterfeit, go to the Vapur website and read their blog. Everything they describe about the knockoffs matches the bottles I received. Update: the leaking got worse. I was hoping I could find a replacement cap from a water bottle but no luck. Don't purchase this item.
