Returned product due to failed continuity test, both wires showed continuity with all four pins on the MagSafe connector. Further, after opening my MacBook AC adapter to examine whether/how to solder in this cable, I concluded it's not worth the time and effort. There are decent third party replacement MagSafe power adapters available here on Amazon for very reasonable price, under half the original Apple adapter cost. (In fact, I like the design of the third party adapter I purchased more than the actual Apple design.)
