Where do I start, and is there such a rating as negative on Amazon? Simply put this is the worst puchase I have ever made. Ever. Not just on Amazon but EVER! Let me start off by letting everyone know that this was supposed to be a gift for my daughter and that I selected to have it gift wrapped. Lucky me that I still checked it. Now I will also state that the description did include the following. "Certified Refurbished" "limited or no wear" so I am not expecting anyone to stand up for this and it will be a case of buyer beware. Now the first indication of anything that could have gone wrong came from the packaging. It came in a nice gray bag and a nice card that I had given my xmas wish for my daughter. So I was pretty pleased and had hopes for a great smile on her face Christmas Day. But as always like any protective father I have to check the product out before putting it under the tree. Best decision ever. Because imagine my surprise when I pulled out a box that looked like it had gone through the New York sewer system on a hot mugy August day. I was not sure if I was actually seeing this. I could see my daughters face turning to one of absolute disgust instead of the beaming smile I sould be seeing. Well it just gets worse. The black marks all over the white set of headphones. Not to mention what I will only hope is black felt on the earbuds. The worst part of it all. I have to assume what is the earwax of the previous owner under the rubber molded fitting that would have gone into my daughters ears! I cannot wait to upload the photos. So buyer beware when a seller puts the following statement onto their page "The refurbishing process includes functionality testing, (could not bring myself to the point of even getting those things close to my ears) basic cleaning (Maybe clean if you lived in China and had to breathe that pea soup) inspection, (By a blind man training pigeons.... think about it.) Time to not be a cheapo, and pony up the $$$ to make sure my daughter does not catch whatever these guys "tested, cleaned and inspected" back into this package I received. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
