Bought this for a little piece of mind. Unfortunately, it won't be coming from this device. I read some of the reviews about not having too much space under the door, but I truly believed there to be barely any under mine. Yet, the foot was completely detaching from the body of the device by the time I got it to a satisfactory height. Also, take into mind that if you're using this in a carpeted area, the padding will make the distance needed to secure the device even greater once the carpet is fully compressed.
