So I bought this and after amazon gave me a delivery date they couldn't meet, pushed it back a month and I finally got it today. First thing I do is open it and assemble the charger and plug it in to find that it doesn't work! then I go online to find people complaining that it is a polarity issue and they had no light when charging the battery either so I couldn't charge it. Amazon said they would either refund me Just enough to buy a battery charger but that would mean if it was defective I couldn't return or replace it. The other option was to wait a month for a replacement. Thank god I didn't accept that offer. I took my friends ar drone 2.0 battery and his working charger and then put in the battery into the drone. I flew it and was amazed. My only complaint was that it wasn't really stable past 5 feet in the air, it drifts a lot. I almost crashed it into a house and a few trees but somehow avoided them. I noticed that the second you hit 20% battery, it tries to land itself and you have no control over it. I luckily landed in the grass. Then after another charge, I put the battery in again, this time going in an open field. I flew it in the air, flipped, had no problems, when 15 seconds later while hovering, a propeller just flew straight off of the drone 100 feet in the air and it just came crashing straight down. I even got the video of its flight recorded, and luckily I had someone take a video of the drone itself in the air since it was the first recorded flight so you can clearly see the propeller just pops off and then crashes. I had no issues with recording or app crashing using an iPhone 4 and iPad 3, but the biggest issue was the crash and stability since it drifts. Very disappointed UPDATE: Two months after my original order and a month after the original broke within two uses, I finally got a replacement today. The estimated arrival date for the replacement was like June 4-8 and then just like before, every time I contacted the reps, they said don't worry we promise it will be there. Then on the 7th I told them that there's only a day left and they said the same thing. I got the replacement today and it didn't even ship in a packaging box, just the drones original packaging. It looked opened and damaged then when I opened the box, the drone itself seems used. Even all the tapes and adhesives were peeling off. I'm extremely disappointed with both amazon and parrot for all the trouble caused and time they wasted
