Look, everybody knows Philips products are way overpriced. We buy the products because of their integration and richness of supporting app ecosystem and let's be honest, Philips is not going away overnight as many other light companies are. I knowingly overpaid to stay and expand into hue system, so I know that. I find the lights to be great as light and the ability to change the light Ks in addition to brightness is a great feature. What I did no realize is horrible these mounts are. What a piece of junk of a mount. Brand new canisters installed and to use retrofit type mounts and not support both as on option is ridiculous to me. $14 canister LEDs at home depot have both friction plates and the loops that slides into canister housing. The 3 friction slots are just horrible and to make matters worse you cannot press them in, as you do a friction plate on the side, and you can damage the clean ridge around the down light canister. I bought 12 of them and had to return 4 because they were popping down and not staying flush. Amazon WAS GREAT and promptly sent me another 4. 2 of those are popping down now. I will wait and see, but this is unacceptable in my mind.
