We returned this product because we do not believe the bowels are actually stainless steel. We have two reasons for this conclusion: 1. The bowels contain no normally etched stainless steel designation 2. The bowels exterior and interior are of two colors. We believe The interior surface has been only painted with a tin-like coating to resemble stainless steel., Therefore, there’s no assurance that it’s safe for our pets to eat food that had been in contact with the bowels’ interior surface. China has a very poor record of product safety control.
