Expensive... after you figure it out
I purchase a LOT online and love shopping on Amazon. It takes a LOT for me to spend my time reviewing. It has to be pretty awesome or awfully bad. In this case, its definitely the latter. I'm kicking myself! I'm usually SO very careful about buying online. The last thing I want is the hassle of a return. I saw "100 LOADS", good reviews, and what looked like a good price - so I ordered them. Well...this is a TINY little box with VERY few soap nuts! There's about HALF as many as expected based on all others I've bought. If I use 4 or 5 in the wash bag as instructed, that means I'll have to get OVER 11 WASHES from each wash bag to get 100 loads out of these! They never last that long. I estimate there's enough for maybe 50 or 60 loads - at most! The soap nuts look similar to the brand I've been using, so no issue with their quality (hence why two stars). It upsets me that I (the savvy shopper) fell for this. I imagine many would. In hindsight, I've read that you should never buy soap nuts based upon loads. I just learned "why" the hard way! I guess if you had no prior experience, you wouldn't know any better. So, now I have to hassle with a return. Errrr...!!! I hate to, it's not much money, but it's a matter of principle to me. Hopefully, my review will help others make a smarter choice. I noticed that Econuts has a "360 Load" size, too. It's over $30 for only 16 oz! - If you look close enough and read carefully. That's expensive, too! I'm glad I chose the small size, and hopefully get a full refund. A big "THUMBS DOWN" for Econuts!
