I loved this blanket so much, but after a few weeks the Sherpa got all clumped and knotted together. I decided it needed a wash, although I was afraid of it damaging the product. I followed all of the care instructions- machine wash gentle, 30 degrees Celsius/80 Fahrenheit. I air dried it too. Big mistake. The layers no longer held together anywhere other than the seems, so now they lift apart and it looks like somebody stitched two blankets together and didn't add anything in the middle to keep it together. the stuffing all fell to the bottom. Disappointed! I spent 40$ on this blanket only to have lied to every step of the way. Do not machine wash!
