We bought this so our puppy wouldn't swallow the ends of bully sticks. The first use worked well - it stopped our puppy from eating the end of the bully stick. However, after removing the first bully stick, we could see that the plastic "teeth" that held the bully stick had already been worn down so what used to be pointy ends to hold the bully stick were now mostly rounded down. We still used it for the second bully stick hoping it would hold, but unfortunately our puppy was able to pull the bully stick out of the bully buddy and then proceeded to swallow the entire thing (3in long bully stick). We are now waiting for her to throw it up, but needless to say we are EXTREMELY disappointed with this product!!! Why are the teeth cheap plastic that erode after only ONE use?? It was also pricey and not what we expected at all for the price tag. Worst of all, we are so worried about our puppy (5mo old). We bought this for peace of mind but it's now caused us a lot of worry and stress :(
