They lied again - do not buy
Firstly, this is obviously about this package - the games themselves are classics (thank you Westwood Studios). EA lied when they said these are for windows 7 - they aren't. I bought this in hope that the old games would work, because there were serious graphics problems with them when run on newer systems, and I bought this on the explicit assumption that they would be fixed - after all, EA stated they were for windows 7. However, lo and behold, the problems are identical to the problems in previous releases, meaning that they didn't change a thing. Not only that, even supposing I felt like playing a game with distorted graphics, some of the missions in Red Alert simply freeze, making it impossible to play. Secondly, there is no disk - you have to download something called "Origin", a launcher whence the games are downloaded and played which also allows EA to spy on you. Considering I ordered this to my house specifically so that I could have a hard copy and NOT have to download anything, I am appalled - not only at EA, but also at Amazon, which states specifically in its product description that this is a DVD-ROM. I am getting a refund. I was cheated when I bought The First Decade but I didn't bother; not this time EA. I'm disgusted that they can't be bothered to fix known problems with their games. I want hard copies and I don't want their spyware on my computer. I'm a paying customer (and have been for over 20 years) and I'm being treated like a potential thief.
