★★☆☆☆
Cumbersome to use, bad color output
This device is cumbersome to use, and produces mediocre images. Scanning negatives requires lining up each frame manually for individual scanning. I found that entire frames of 35mm film would not fit and the resulting photos are truncated. Also, the color is far from accurate, and I had tried various combinations of image settings (hue, saturation, etc.). I compared this product with a flat bed scanner that supports scanning negatives and the only advantages the Jumbl scanner had were its small size and low price (though I'd pay the extra $70 for the flat bed scanner any day for the higher quality). The flat bed scanner can scan 12 frames at once without truncation and without having to line up each frame, and the resulting image color is accurate (without even having to mess around with color settings). So I returned the Jumbl scanner and now I scan my negatives with the flat bed.
