Buyer Beware
I just received this product and have not used it to remove polish so I can’t comment on that. I can comment on the misleading advertising. I’m curious why it is called Organic Lavender Nail Polish Remover. Lavender does not even show up on the ingredient list. Is it named that because of the color of the label? And, other than the company website address, there is no mention of this product being organic anywhere on the label. Soybean oil is one of the ingredients and non-organic soybeans are almost always GMO and heavily sprayed with highly toxic pesticides and herbicides. The label does have a warning that it is For External Use Only but it is well known that what goes on the body ultimately goes in the body. I appreciate a company that attempts to make a clean product and compared to other polish removers, it may be less toxic than a lot of the others. However, that being said, the impression that is given is that it is an organic product and unless it can be shown otherwise, I would have to say it has been falsely advertised. Is there proof that organic ingredients are used? I don’t care if they are certified organic if I can be shown that you source from suppliers that use organic principles, no GMO’s, no toxic chemicals, etc, otherwise I will have to return it. For anyone considering this product - Buyer Beware! Just because the word Organic is used, we can’t assume we will get a truly organic product and the fact that there is no Lavender is anybody’s guess!
