I really wanted to like these sponges as I am a avid BB user, but they are pricey, but I just don’t. Firstly, they are not very “spongey” and rather stiff even when they are wet. I used the sponge to blend out my under eye concealer because I wanted to try it out on a small area before using them all over the face with foundation. While they do blend well I noticed a green hue, I know it’s sounds crazy but hear me out, on my face right along the edges of where I used the Juno sponge. I am a brown skin woman and have never experienced this with any other sponge I have used. I believe it is from the blue dye in the sponge that is mixed with my makeup once it is wet. The blue dye mixed with brown makeup created a green hue. I confirmed my suspicions when I cleaned the sponge and blue water drained out each time I squeezed out the sponge. Due to the fact I don’t enjoy looking like Fiona I will be returning these.
