I bought these to replace the Bose QC headphones. I had my Bose headphones paired to three devices, my phone, desktop computer, and laptop. Now it remembered all those connections and I would be able to hit a switch on the earcup to select which one I would want to listen to. That was a really convenient feature that I use all the time. The problem is that the Sony couldn't do that. That was a dealbreaker for me so I returned them. Here are a few examples of why device switching was important. Sometimes I would be coming home while listening to Spotify on my phone and Bose. Now when I got home, I would want to use my PC so I'd just switch audio inputs and now I could listen to YouTube videos or whatever. Then later when I'd go to school, I'd take my laptop out to study and I would just switch my Bose to listen to that. It was a really good feature to have and I wish Sony would implement that.
