Whelp, it finally happened. I used a newfangled hair product and damn near lost all my hair. I’m maybe being a little bit dramatic, it’s only portions of my edges, the rest of it is fine, but still. Not cool L’Oréal, not cool. The first 3 times I used this product I felt and looked like I tumbled out of a Pantine commercial! Then came the 4th. I followed the directions, got the same yummy tingly scalp feeling and actually emerged from the shower with all my hairs! Then I started to brush my edges and at first I didn’t notice anything, but after about a week I went to put my hair in French braids and noticed that all the edges on the right side of my head were gone and there was a clump on the left that was missing.😖 I didn’t use any new products other than this so I can only conclude that it must have been this devilish elixir. Y’all it was so bad I couldn’t bring myself to take a picture of it. Every time I tried I was crying too hard and I looked blur-ily insane. Luckily I have an arsenal of products that make my hair grow like weeds so my bald spots have hair now, but it did take about a month. The pics I posted are after about a month and a half of growth. My hair is pretty strong and can take a lot (except heat) but it did not like this AT ALL so maybe it isn’t the best for all hair types? This clearly works for lots of people but it didn’t work for my hair type and I definitely wouldn’t recommend this to anyone be they friend or foe.🤷🏽‍♀️
