I bought this gizmo so I could watch amazon instant video on my tv from ipad. It does't work at all for this (amazon instant video reports that it is not compatible with airplay). Somehow the ipad reports this device as airplay. I wish the write-up for this device indicated that it only mirrors "some" content, instead of the misleading "all" content. I don't know what other apps this device doesn't work with. I'd recommend checking if your app works with this cable.
