Installed this on my golf cart. After figuring how to program it, I finally got it all set up. Seemed to work great, and accurate. However upon turning off the cart, LOST ALL THE PROGRAMMING! In this modern day of mature electronics thats inexcusable. Something this simple shouldn't lose all the programming when you shut down the power. All it takes is an EEPROM to store the data instead of RAM. I don't want power on it while unattended, thats a recupe for fire, especially with non UL listed electronics. Should have known. Just about everything electronic, rubber or plastic Chinese products are cheap and inferior with a very short life span. I have a turntable I bought in 1984 made in Japan that still works like a brand new one 35 years old. This thing probably won't last 3 years.
