I rarely write a book review out of respect for writers but I have read this series more than once and am wondering who wrote this book? My feeling is someone vaguely familiar with the characters who are now shadows of themselves. Uneasy feeling from the start and the wit and humor that seems so characteristic of Janet Evanovich is missing. When Morelli comes to Stephanie’s parents for dinner without the faithful Bob, I knew for certain. I suspect the writer has turned over the series to her daughter. Having read one book they co-authored together, I sensed her unimaginative hand in this one. Game Over for this long time reader.
