I had been eyeing this nightgown for about a year before I finally gave in and bought it. I saw reviews warning about how the gown was too sheer, but I figured if I wore it together with the robe I'd be fine. Boy, was I optimistic. I anticipated the material would be thin enough that you can kinda see through it in bright light, but it's so much worse. I'd say the entire thing is as see-through as about three or four bridal veils layered together. Even in low light, you can very clearly see through the entire thing. And there is nothing behind the lace upper part. You can literally reach through the lace and poke the wearer's nipples. (Side note: there's no support for anything past a B cup.) The pictures are so misleading. There's no way the gown in the picture could have been made out of the same fabric, even if they'd used Photoshop. And I'm so disappointed because the pictures promised something beautiful and elegant but instead it just looks trashy. The worst part is, the design of the gown really is beautiful. If it was sewn the exact same way with fabric that actually covers you up, this would have been so gorgeous... I really wish there was an opaque version of this gown.
