I ordered this own because I love fountain pens and this IS a beauty, lovely lines and intriguing finish. I didn't use it right away but I wish I had. First, it doesn't come with cartridges, it has a refillable cartridge. Fine, I know how to do that - prefer not to, it can be messy and takes time, but ok. Guess what? No ink flow, no writing. I followed the instructions in case there was a plot twist with this one - nope, no deal. I ordered prefilled cartridges, in case that was the problem. Waiting the COVID-USPS two weeks for the cartridges, tried that - nope! They don't even fit, despite being recommended. The pen is beautiful, and I'll bet it writes well, but I have no way of knowing. It's also VERY heavy for the size - someone with more handstrength would appreciate it, I'm sure, but it would be wearying to write with it for long. So, pros and cons: Pros: * It's a beautiful piece * The price was right, had it worked * Comes with a squeeze cartridge for you to fill with your own ink. Cons: * It's heavy * Mine doesn't work * Does not come with or work with prefilled disposable cartridges. If I had tried it out within the return window, I would've went it back. As it is, it's a nice paperweight. (Nice looking and heavy).
