Pros: 1) Good size for holding large items or a greater quantity of smaller items. 2) Not obnoxiously loud or irritating to listen to - but see the cons list for a possible reason. 3) Drain with shut off valve is convenient. (No leaks found as of yet.) 4) The heating units for this model are rated at 500 watts. Bench testing showed actual wattage at just over 500 watts. PASSED. Cons: 1) The ultrasonic units for this model are rated at 600 watts. Bench testing shows actual wattage is only 380 watts. That is only 63% of the power the manufacturer claims this unit has. FAILED! That is 220 watts of power I paid for but I am not getting. Possibly the reason it's not as loud as I expected it to be... 2) No strainer/grate over the inner drain, just an open pipe fitting. Very small parts/pieces can go down the drain possibly losing them or clogging the drain and/or jamming up the ball valve. 3) Very cheaply made, very THIN GAGE wire basket for the tank appears like it would bend if you look at it too hard. Putting anything over 2-3 lbs of weight in it will likely tear it apart in my opinion. 4) The lid for the tank is also very thin gage sheet metal - but it's basically nothing more than a dust cover anyway, so not a big concern.
