If you have any type of USB charger for a Smartphone, YOU DON"T NEED THIS. It is marketed specifically for the Kindle in the add. However, it is nothing more than a USB charger that is comparable to ANY smartphone USB charger. The extra $10-20 charge for the charger is a joke. Then returning it, you are given one option. To use UPS ground which costs you $7. So paying $10 (on the discount) only to return once you see it for $7, means that you get a $3 refund. Love Amazon but that is RIDICULOUS!!!
