The poem “Brotherly Love,” is deeply disturbing- bordering on actually horrifying. As a teacher, I cannot wrap my head around how this got through the editing and publishing stage and is now in a book being marketed and sold to children. This particular poem is hard to justify as being even adult humor but absolutely in no universe should be something any child should read. Maybe reprint this book without this poem? Otherwise- parents and teacher beware.
