They're polite - but you won't get your camera back any time soon and they won't keep you up to date, either.
Count me as a very unhappy customer. I thought the additional "insurance" plan sold to me when I bought the camera might be bogus...and I wasn't far off. When you call, the customer service people are unfailingly polite - I suspect they're Canadian, after all. But 30 days after they acknowledged receipt of my camera, I have no camera, no word and no updates on the status of my repair. I can log into my account, but all it tells me is the camera was shipped elsewhere. There is no phone number to call and no way to get a status update. So, I called CPS once again and got another very polite person. She told me the camera was "scheduled" to be repaired and returned to me today. Really?
CPS says items will be repaired and returned in 15-30 days, and they will contact you in the event of delays. Well, that's certainly far from the truth. Even if they do send me my camera today - fully 30 days since they received it - this is now Friday and I won't see my camera till next week. So - if you need to use your camera for work as I do, DO NOT buy any warranties with CPS and DO NOT count on them to follow through as they very politely promise.
