QUALITY OVER QUANTITY
I have been using oils for about 15 years now. I have tried to sell doterra but chose not to bei disagreed with the way it was set up. I have tried several different kinds. These oils may be organic as they say but I believe there is something wrong with their distillation process because they are noticeably inferior. I did a blind test on 2 people that I have made blends for, and both of them noticed a huge difference between a bottle from pura d'or vs Pranarom (my go to recommendation for anybody buying oils) and vs doterra. The scent seems to almost be watered down. I could use double to make a blend and it still wouldn't smell as strong. I got my "test subjects" to smell an almost empty bottle of doterras cedarwood vs my new bottle from pura d'or and it was still way stronger. I wouldn't say they smell synthetic, however, there is definitely something wrong with their processing. The box is adorable but cheaply made. I would not recommend this as a starter gift for anybody because they will have a false sense that oils are less potent than they actually are. Quality over quantity. I buy oils because they are a concentrated form of a plant, therefore why waste anymore of my time on one that is obviously not as potent. Edit: I just accidentally did another test on the oils. When I mop I alwwys just pour some vinegar and an essential oil on the floor. I have a carbon monoxide detector close to the floor. It has never went off with any of my oils. I was scared to use the pura d'or oils for health purposes but figured it was fine for cleaning. The tea tree made my detector go off and it kept going off until after I got the tea tree off my floor. Very strange.
