Save your dollars for warmer, more comfortable leggings, ladies!
I ordered these via a Lightning Deal on Black Friday 2016. They arrived amazingly fast. I laundered per directions prior to wearing. There are a few things about the description that are misleading - first, these are NOT fleece-lined. They are a single layer of two way stretch poly-spandex with a brushed interior which faces the wearer's skin. (Big difference from fleece lined. HUGE). Secondly, if you're thinking that they will be like the traditional leggings or yoga pants (four way stretch) that we've all come to love, they are not. Upon reading the posted reviews, I ordered one size up from my normal medium (I'm a true size 8), and purchased a large. They're pretty restrictive. They have a little bit of stretch, but they aren't, IMO, suited for anything like yoga or running because they're only a two-way stretch fabric with little give. This is the part that is most disappointing to me, because no one wants a legging that is the least bit binding. If you want something really comfortable for active wear or lounging, keep looking. Additionally, despite a few other reviews, they aren't thick, nor are they warmer than any other standard legging. The brushed fabric interior feels fine against the skin, but it doesn't make up for the shortcomings of the fabric or the lack of implied warmth. The smooth, somewhat shiny side of the material is on the outside, and while it does kind of repel pet hair and debris, it is the kind that is easily snagged, so there's not much benefit from this. Lastly, these have a very lounge wear/sport wear design - so you probably wouldn't wear them out to any function that is dressier than the gym (but go back to my comments above - you probably wouldn't want to work out in these, either!). On a positive note, the fabric is restrictive enough that it does provide a bit of slimming and smoothing, but this comes at the cost of reasonable comfort. I've had these on for about eight hours and I'm ready to change in to a pair of cotton leggings from Old Navy, or reach for my even more inexpensive fleece leggings from eBay that I paid all of $6 a pair for (they are far more comfortable than these, and just as not warm). I really wanted to like these (I purchased two pairs at somewhere around $15 a pair), but they'll probably sit in the bottom of my drawer as a last resort for laundry day.
