I recently purchased this item from an outfitter store, and i was lucky enough that they allowed me to return this item. One day while weeding the area around my patio i decided to see how it works. While attempting the dig up the roots of a weed the shovel bent. How is this suppose to be an entrenching tool when it cant even withstand digging up a small patch of dirt. I am rather disappointed in SOG for making such a useless tool. Don't buy this unless you want to waste your money
