I just learned from experience that this frother is not water-tight, which is hilarious given that it must be rinsed after each use. If any water runs down the outside of the frothing cup, it will leak through the unsealed front buttons and into the electronics within. When you flip the cup over onto a towel to dry out, any water present on the bottom will leak through the unsealed screw holes and into the motor, which is entirely exposed. If you were unfortunate enough to buy one of these frothers or receive one as a gift, prepare for disappointment.
