I was so excited and hopeful to get my Roomba on Prime Days! I have 2 dogs and it is always a challenge to keep the floors clean. I unpacked it, got it all set up and let it go!! I watched it for a bit and it like others have said it seemed to go to the same spots over and over yet missed several areas that had leaves or other small things on the floor (hair and such). I figured it was just learning the area and it seemed to go over the area rug fine at first... after watching it for a while I went about my business while it was doing its thing. After a bit I hear "Roomba is stuck and needs assistance". I walked out of my office to find a giant mess and it shredded spots on my throw rug by the front door. The same one it went over to multiple times while I watched it. Needless to say, I had to pull out the regular vacuum to clean up the mess the Roomba made. This just completely defeats the purpose! So it seems that if you have throw rugs you will have to babysit it to ensure you don't end up with a mess and ruin your rug! I'm going to be sending it back because ain't no body got time for that!!
