I wished I'd never read it.
This book ruins another of her books. If you want to spend a good portion of a book watching a beloved character die then this book is for you. I didn't find the hooking up by the dead wife meet cute either. This whole book smacked of manipulation and a lot of unnecessary things. I hate that it ruined one of my favorite books and I hate that it acts like people can just be forgotten as soon as they die because they set a plan to hook up their man. Nor do I believe any woman would hook up her man with someone she didn't even know well. I usually like LJ Shen but this went too far for me. It over shadows the main story. The main story wasn't great either. Very childish and they are kept a part by a series of misunderstandings. There's very little of them falling in love or feeling even in like. There's too much borderline cheating. All they do is over the top crazy things in order to set up the misunderstandings. All this for no reason. For the first time ever I was bored with this book and then pissed at the rest. I usually love LJ Shen but I loathe this book. I think she threw one book under the bus to make this one. I also agree with a lot of the other 1 star reviews, so I won't repeat. The ending wasn't satisfying. I didn't care if they got together. I didn't like Luna and Knight is barely better.
