I had the same experience as Liana - filled out the form with a personal note wishing my niece happy birthday. Two weeks later I got an e-mail from her apologizing for the late note, but she thought it had come from her parents because there was NO note at all. When I explained, she answered by saying, "Odd that they let you include one during the ordering process because what I got was the makings of the present, not the present in final gift form." It's a good thing I had told her mother I was getting that for her or it would have remained a mystery.
